Courtney L’Italien has built a career in compliance, audit, and risk management in the financial services sector and currently holds the position of Senior Compliance Manager at State Street.  She graduated from Loyola University Maryland (formerly Loyola College) with a BA in Communications/Writing and is currently a member of the School Council for Duxbury Middle School. Reading has always been a favorite pastime of hers and as a young girl, Courtney was fond of Shel Silverstein’s poetry, the Goosebumps series, and Betsy Byar’s Pinballs. Instilling that same love of reading in a new generation of children, including her son, is a passion of Courtney’s and that is what drove her to seek out a position on the Wondermore Board.
